AIR PLAY TROUBLESHOOTING

How to Use AirPlay from Your iPhone or iPad to an AirPlay-Enabled TV.

Requirements:
​
-
An iPhone or iPad with iOS 12 or later
-
An AirPlay 2-enabled smart TV (e.g., recent models from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, etc.)
-
Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network
​
Steps to AirPlay from an iPhone or iPad:
​
Option 1: AirPlay The Stream (from web browser)
​
1. Buy the livestream from Subversion.live on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Once you have created an account, paid and the video is playing on your device, tap theAirPlay icon (usually a rectangle with a triangle at the bottom).

In some apps, you may need to tap the Share button first.
3. Select your Airplay enabled TV from the list of available AirPlay devices.
4. The video should now play on your TV.

Tip: In some cases, only the audio will play using the Airplay feature. If this is the case, please see the option below.
Option 2: Mirror Your Entire Screen

1. Open Control Center:

On iPhone X or later / iPad with Face ID: Swipe down from the top-right corner.

On older models: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the Screen Mirroring option (two overlapping rectangles).
3. Choose your AirPlay-enabled TV from the list.
4. Your iPhone/iPad screen will now appear on the TV.

To stop mirroring, open Control Center again and tap Stop Mirroring or select your device and tap Stop.
Troubleshooting Tips:

Make sure your TV is AirPlay-compatible and turned on.

Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on both the phone and the TV, and that they’re on the same network.

Restart both devices if AirPlay doesn’t appear as an option.

Make sure AirPlay is enabled on your TV (check TV settings under AirPlay or Network).
